35 years of warranty. On the panel and on what it produces.
Denim gives this panel a 35-year product warranty and a 35-year power output warranty. After those 35 years, the panel still delivers at least 85.4% of its original output.
Boring is good
Denim does not make panels to impress at a trade fair. It makes panels that, thirty years later, still do what the datasheet said. That is not exciting, and that is exactly the point: a solar panel is the part of your installation you want to stop thinking about for the longest time.
Why glass on both sides?
Most panels have glass on the front and a plastic backsheet on the back. That backsheet is the part that starts to discolour and let moisture through after twenty years. A glass-glass panel has 2 millimetre tempered glass on both sides. It is heavier and slightly more expensive, but it is also the reason Denim dares to give 35 years of warranty instead of 25.
An added benefit: the panel also captures light on its rear side, reflected by the roof or its surroundings. On a light-coloured roof, that yields a few percent extra.
