Thirty years, and we make sure you actually get them
SunPower gives the P7 a thirty-year warranty: on the panel itself, on what it produces, and on service. Those thirty years only apply to registered installations, however; without registration the warranty falls back to 25 years.
We register every installation ourselves, at handover. You do not need to do anything, and you receive the confirmation in your file. That way you can be sure you really have the full thirty years, rather than discovering you have lost five just when you need them.

What a “power output warranty” means in practice
A solar panel delivers a fraction less every year. For the P7, SunPower guarantees that after the first year the panel still delivers at least 99% of its output, and after that loses at most 0.35% per year. In other words: after thirty years your installation still runs at well over 88% of day one.
When do we propose the SunPower? When your roof has little space. On a large roof, the Denim 455 usually gives you a better balance between price and yield. On a small roof, what matters most is what each square metre produces, and then the P7 wins.
