What this calculation is, and what it is not

This is an estimate, not a quote. During a site visit we measure your roof and calculate with your own figures, even if it turns out that it does not pay off for you.

  • The yield per kWp is calculated by PVGIS, the model of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, for the location Lembeek, with 14% system losses and a roof pitch of 35 degrees: 1,062 kWh per kWp facing south, 841 east-west, 965 on a flat roof.
  • 3,500 kWh is the annual consumption the VREG uses for a household. It is a starting point, not a prediction of your consumption.
  • The tariff of €0.35 per kWh is an assumption you can change yourself, not a tariff of ours.
  • What is not included: maintenance, an inverter replaced after fifteen years, panel degradation, and interest if you borrow.

A home battery or smart energy management mainly changes how much of your own electricity you use yourself. That depends so heavily on your household and your appliances that a slider cannot predict it fairly. If you would like to try anyway, you can do so on the detailed calculation.
